Wolverhampton Penn Road, McDonalds Restaurants

The fresh and modern restaurant, re-opened by Councillor Dr. Michael Hardacre and Ms. Lynn Plant, the Mayor and Mayoress of Wolverhampton, underwent a significant transformation.

The 9-week refurbishment project, which began in early January 2024, included a full renovation of the dining area and customer toilets, highlighting a stylish new Luna décor scheme.

In addition, the customer toilets and crew facilities received complete upgrades, featuring new finishes and sanitaryware. A multi-faith room has been created for staff, along with an impressive new training room.

The kitchen area was expanded, and a dedicated McDelivery zone was established, providing a separate waiting area and access for delivery couriers.

On the exterior, the corral was extended, and the drive-thru lanes and car park were reconfigured for improved customer flow.

Furthermore, the site now boasts complimentary soft landscaping and four state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle Charging Points, installed by Instavolt, to promote sustainability.
